THANK YOU to Anthony and Associates for repairing a leaking metal roof in Lafayette and for priming rust spots on a roof and then coating it with aluminum paint to prevent leaks on a trailer in Rossville.

THANK YOU to Paul Hentz, Michael Shipp, Doug Cogswell and Glenda Cogswell for gutting a bathroom and replacing the plumbing, subfloor, flooring, shower, toilet, vanity, drywall and fixtures for a family in Rossville whose bathroom floor was literally falling in.

THANK YOU to Lee Hawkins, Paul Hentz, Dee Dee McMahan, Michael Shipp, David White, Dennis Willerson, Doug Cogswell and Glenda Cogswell for removing old siding and replacing with new siding and insulation to stop many significant air drafts and to secure the home from critters. We also replaced rotten wall sheeting and covered it with Tyvek to protect the wood until she can get the siding replaced on the back of the house. The work was done for a lady in Chattanooga Valley.

THANK YOU to Travis Eaker, David Ferry, Paul Hertz, Dee Dee McMahan, Luke Taylor, David White, Jonathan White, Doug Cogswell and Glenda Cogswell for tearing out a bathroom and bedroom with fire damage and replacing some floor joists and subflooring in the bathroom, insulating the wall and ceiling, replacing the wall and ceiling sheetrock, and finding a roof leak that needs to be repaired. Also we were able to acquire some flooring for the bedroom that the family can put down themselves. This project was completed for a family in Chickamauga.

We had an awesome time at our Spaghetti Dinner and Lip Sync Battle that was expertly organized by Tori Hinch and Rachel Kulich. And the battle would not have been possible if not for our lip syncers: Daniel Waller, Michael Waller, Kami Hawkins and Jaden Hawkins, Jacob and Candace Patty, Jarod Streetman, Hunter Taylor, Kris Bruce and Sean Maxwell, Madison and Callie Savage. So many others were a part of this production and food preparation, as well. And though your names are not listed, God knows who you are. Thanks to everyone’s hard work and our audiences generosity, not to mention God’s bountiful blessings, we were able to raise just over $1000 for our ministry. All of which goes directly to our community for the purchase of materials as needed for projects.

A BIG THANK YOU to Travis Eaker, Lee Hawkins, Paul Hentz, and Doug Cogswell for jacking up a sagging floor, repairing water damaged subfloor and replacing old plumbing for a family in Chickamauga and laying a nonskid surface on a ramp for another family in Chickamauga.

THANK YOU to Mike Hardy, Paul Hentz, Colby Lewis, Doug Cogswell and Glenda Cogswell for all your help to tear out a rotten, water damaged bathroom floor; tear out a toilet, bathtub and shower wall, and replace all that was removed with new tall toilet, step in shower, subfloor, bedside commode, and bathroom flooring. The resident of the home is a double amputee and the floor was very close to collapsing.

Our October work day went great. Thanks so much to our volunteers: Travis Eaker, Paul Hentz, Cindy Siskey, Doug Cogswell and Glenda Cogswell. We built a deck and ramp for a family in Rossville Ga.

WOW! Our Dessert Theatre Fundraiser raised approx $2200 for our ministry. THANK YOU SO MUCH to those who donated money, desserts, talents and time. Our Dessert Theatre organizing committee made up of Anne Hentz, Joy Mays, Cristal Whitlock, Candice Patty, Doug Cogswell, and Glenda Cogswell did an outstanding job getting our production to go off without a hitch.

Yet another successful work day completed THANKS to our WONDERFUL volunteers, Montana Derryberry, Travis Eaker, Lee Hawkins, Jaden Hawkins, Maddox Hawkins, Paul Hentz, Clifton King, Colby Lewis, Micheal Savedge, Cindy Siskey, Doug Cogswell and Glenda Cogswell, who not only took out old, crumbling concrete steps and built new, safe steps but also built the family a new ramp; weeded a gigantic area of azalea bushes; moved rock and debris from a demolished concrete step and area of excavation; and sanded, primed and painted a wrought iron handrail. All these projects were completed in Rock Spring and Chickamauga.
